Precision CNC-machined turned parts for mechanical engineering and industry
Dittler GmbH manufactures CNC-turned parts according to your technical specifications. We combine CNC turning with other manufacturing processes such as CNC milling, gear cutting, grooving, and grinding. This allows us to coordinate multiple machining steps depending on the component.
Our production is geared toward individual parts, small series, and medium batch sizes. Prototyping and pre-series production are also possible.
Have CNC-machined turned parts manufactured with precision
Our CNC turning centers enable the cost-effective machining of various component geometries. Powered tools provide additional machining capabilities.
Our manufacturing is particularly well-suited for components where CNC turning is only one part of the overall manufacturing process. For example, shafts and gears can first be turned and then gear-cut or further processed using other manufacturing methods at our facility.
Your benefits at a glance:
Individual parts, small-batch production, and medium-sized production runs
Our manufacturing process is geared toward these needs.
Among other things, we handle:
Our Capabilities in CNC Turning
With CNC turning, we can machine workpieces with a diameter of up to 300 mm. We’ll review your component data to determine which dimensions and geometries are feasible for your specific application.
Not sure if your component can be manufactured on our machines? Simply send us the drawing along with the key technical requirements.
What materials can we CNC turn?
We machine various steels and alloys according to the requirements of the respective component.
Stainless Steel
We can also produce turned parts made of stainless steel on our CNC machines.
Aluminum
Aluminum and aluminum alloys are suitable for numerous applications in mechanical and plant engineering.
Brass
Brass is also one of the materials we regularly machine. Castings We can also machine workpieces made of cast materials.
Engineering Plastics
In addition to metals, we process various plastics, including POM, PEEK, and PA.
CNC Turning and Other Machining Services from a Single Source
In addition to CNC turning, we have our own manufacturing capabilities for:
These include, for example:
Do you need a component that is as finished as possible?
This will allow us to review the necessary manufacturing steps together.
CNC-Turned Parts for Mechanical Engineering and Industry
These include, in particular, requirements from the mechanical engineering, drive technology, and other industrial sectors.
Typical CNC-turned parts include, for example:
Especially for parts with complex drawings, it is therefore worthwhile to look beyond a single supplier for a single machining operation. When turning, milling, gear cutting, grooving, or grinding must be combined, we can evaluate the manufacturing process for the entire component.
Quality Assurance for Precision CNC-Turned Parts
Dittler GmbH’s quality management system is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
We have a physically separate measuring room for production and final inspection. There, we verify dimensional accuracy using, among other things, a 3-coordinate measuring machine from Zeiss.
Upon request or according to agreed-upon specifications, we can also prepare measurement reports and initial sample inspection reports.
Defined inspection processes thus accompany your drawing-based part from production through final inspection.

2. Review requirements
We consider, among other things, part geometry, dimensions, material, quantity, and required machining steps.
3. Determine the manufacturing process
If the part requires additional machining beyond CNC turning, this can be taken into account during production planning.
4. Manufacture the component
Once the order is placed, we manufacture the workpiece according to the agreed-upon technical specifications.
5. Inspect quality
The components are inspected according to the specified requirements and prepared for shipment.

Frequently Asked Questions About CNC Turning
What is CNC turning?
CNC turning is a machining process used primarily to produce rotationally symmetric components. The workpiece rotates while cutting tools remove material in a controlled manner. The CNC control system enables defined machining sequences to be carried out in a reproducible manner.
Does Dittler manufacture CNC-machined turned parts based on drawings?
Yes. We manufacture custom CNC-turned parts according to technical specifications. To have your request reviewed, please send us a drawing or existing CAD data, along with information on the material and quantity.
Is it possible to produce individual CNC-machined turned parts?
Yes. Our manufacturing process is designed for individual parts, small production runs, and medium batch sizes. This means we can be your go-to partner even for custom-made products and smaller quantities.
What materials does Dittler machine using CNC turning?
We machine various alloys of steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and brass, as well as cast materials. In addition, we machine engineering plastics such as POM, PEEK, and PA.
What are the maximum dimensions for CNC-machined turned parts?
With CNC turning, we can machine workpieces with a diameter of up to 300 mm. Other dimensions and manufacturability depend on the part geometry, clamping setup, and machine, and will be evaluated based on the specific inquiry.
Can Dittler mill CNC-turned parts afterward?
Depending on the component, different manufacturing steps can be combined. In addition to CNC turning, we offer CNC milling, gear cutting, grooving, and grinding, among other capabilities.
Can Dittler also produce gear-toothed CNC-turned parts?
Yes. The combination of CNC machining and gear cutting is one of our particular strengths. For example, shafts and gears can first be turned and then cut to fit their intended application.
